1.- Basic setup
- Connect the video output from your computer or stick to your TV´s appropiate input port (usually HDMI).
- On your TV, select the HDMI video input to which the device is connected. The main computer screen should be shown.
- Ensure the device has an Internet connection, either through an Ethernet cable or a Wi-Fi connection.
2.- Showcases Player Installation
- Select “Play Store” in order to install Showcases Player App.
- Enter Showcases Player in the search box.
- Press Install button to install the player application.
3.- Showcase Deployment
- Open Showcases Player.
- You will see the Login form. Enter your Movilok Showcases user name and password. Optionally you can also enter the code of your showcase.
- If you did not enter the code at the previous step, select it right now among the showcases list.
- All done! your showcase will start to be shown on the screen.
- The next time you start the Showcases Player application, your showcase will automatically start, although you can cancel that automatic start in order to select a different one.
Kiosk Mode setup (advanced)
- Open “Showcases Player”.
- Select “Settings”.
- At Settings screen select “Kiosk” category.
- Select the box option “Kiosk mode”.
- Close “Settings” screen.
- All done! now the showcases application will automatically start at the Chromebox startup, allowing you to deploy your interactive showcase.
Beacon Advertising setup (advanced)
- Open “Showcases Player”.
- Select “Settings”.
- At Settings screen select “Beacons” category.
- Select the box option “Enable Beacon”.
- All done! now the showcases application will automatically start to send Beacon advertising messages to your customer´s devices.
